A "Miracle Milkshake" will soon be available, which will keep the Alzheimer's away.A team is developing the memory-boosting strawberry shake containing a mixture of brain nutrients found naturally in breast milk, which it claims would help keep off dementia including Alzheimer's disease.
In fact, tests have showed that taken once a day with breakfast, the strawberry shake significantly improves short-term memory in those in the early stages of the Alzheimer's disease.
The scientists said, that the changes were visible only after 12 weeks providing enough evidence of the drink's potential.
"This is something that has no toxicity, that gives you better function than you started with. If it works in the follow-up studies, it is very exciting," said thelead researcher Prof Richard Wurtman. Prof Wurtman of Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, has pinpointed the compounds which work together to make new connections.
