Tell us something about yourself:-
Originally from Pune, India, I am immensely passionate about Bollywood music. Eat, drink, sleep & think Music. For that I give credit to God’s blessings and also to my parent’s encouragement and support. My Passion and dedication helped me bag the coveted Pune Idol Award in 2007, when I was chosen out of more than 600 contestants. The Pune Idol- 2007 title boosted my confidence and then I moved to compete against 5000 contestants for the well- known reality TV Show Indian Idol in Mumbai.
Although, I could not make it to the finals of that year’s show, I was ranked 30th amongst the huge number of contestants. I vividly recall my meetings with my idol Sonu Nigam in the process and consider it a highlight of my life so far. “Performing in front of my God Sonu Nigam was a dream come true”,. I soon moved on to perform songs for the Marathi film industry and also released two Bollywood song albums in Australia.
Recently I have been awarded as the Indian Karaoke Idol 2011 ( Michigan,US).
When did you first realize that you have a knack for music?
Mom made me realize about this talent when I was 15. I was used to live on the fourth floor the building and was very famous as a bathroom singer. I had the habit of singing loudly and my sound was easily used to reach at ground level.
Did you have a formal training?-
Yes, I got the chance to get trained by two classical Gurus (Pt. Mukundraj Godbole and Pt.Marathe) in year 2006.
Who/what inspires you?
Good music and creativity in the music inspires me (typically AR Rahman music)
Who are your favorite singers/ composers?
Huge fan of Sonu Nigam and Lata Mangeshkar & Internationally Michael Jackson and Britney Spears.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?-
Creating Music Albums & establishing the name in the Bollywood.
A message for the aspiring singers
I am not that big to give a message but still I think that along with Sur and Taal the more preference should be given to the emotions in the song. Emotions is the key to get connected with audience.

Thanks Madhu ....will do it for sure :-)
Keep up the Good Voice
The song is great, the lyrics are soulful and the music is melodious. I am referring to the original - Pritam and Atif Aslam track. I did work for the film Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani as one of the team members for this Rajkumar Santoshi film and believe me, the song has been heard umpteen number of times much before it was released in audio. So I know exactly the pulse of the song, bit by bit
You have a wonderful voice, no doubt. But still, there is a 'soul' missing. Improvise on it and I am sure you will rock!
All the best
